Safety and Health Management Activities
Company-wide Safety and Health ManagementSystem Establishment
We have established a dedicated safety and health organization to systematically manage safety and health hazards, ensure fundamental safety in the workplace, and build an advanced safety and health management system.
Risk Assessment
Employees directly participate in identifying hazardous factors within the workplace, evaluating the associated risk levels, and establishing and implementing reduction measures to prevent injuries or illnesses in advance, thereby eliminating fundamental hazardous factors.
Management of Hazardous Machinery and Equipment
Hazardous or dangerous machinery and equipment are installed and operated only after confirming safety certification (KCS), and we create a safe work environment through legal safety inspection record management, installation of appropriate protective devices, and maintenance/repair.
Safety Management of Subcontractors
We have established and implemented procedures to prevent serious industrial accidents such as worker injuries, fires, explosions, and leaks by ensuring safety in all operations performed by subcontractors within our facilities through subcontracting agreements.
Employee Health Promotion
i-SENS prioritizes the health of its employees and provides comprehensive health check-up services beyond mandatory health examinations as part of its welfare benefits to promote employee health. Additionally, we regularly measure exposure levels to harmful factors such as noise in the workplace that may affect employee health and conduct quantitative evaluations of musculoskeletal strain tasks, among other efforts to continuously improve the work environment.
Emergency Preparedness and Response
We have established and operate a response system for emergencies such as safety accidents, fires, and natural disasters. We conduct a total of two emergency response training sessions and education programs annually, including one training session per organization based on emergency scenarios and one joint fire drill, to strengthen employees’ ability to respond to emergency situations.
Chemical Substance Handling Management
We provide Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) education to employees who handle chemicals, including information on the hazards and risks of the chemicals they handle before work. We also strive to ensure employee safety and health by providing protective measures and personal protective equipment for chemical handling.
Safety and Health Education
i-SENS provides mandatory legal education and safety and health education tailored to different levels and job types to ensure that all employees, including those from subcontractors, can perform their duties safely. This helps to raise employee awareness of safety and minimize safety and health risks.
communication
We listen to opinions related to safety and health and improve them through labor-management consultations, striving to maintain workers’ health and create a safe working environment. Additionally, we strengthen safety and health activities within the workplace through communication with external stakeholders.
