Waste Management
i-SENS strives to prevent environmental damage caused by waste generated at its business sites and to minimize environmental impact by clearly defining management procedures, thereby creating a better working environment.We set annual environmental targets to reduce the amount of waste generated relative to production volume and are researching and applying various methods to achieve these targets, including process improvements, reducing defect rates, and improving raw materials and packaging materials.Additionally, we report on the proper disposal of waste through the Korea Environment Corporation’s Olbaro system.
Air Environmental Management
To reduce the amount of air pollutants emitted at manufacturing sites, we apply various methods such as improving air pollution prevention facilities and installing low-NOx burners in boilers. In addition, we manage air pollutant emissions based on internal standards that are stricter than legal emission standards, and establish and implement plans to reduce air pollutant and greenhouse gas emissions in various areas.
Energy Consumption Reduction
i-SENS sets energy consumption reduction targets for electricity, city gas, and other energy sources across all business sites and manages them accordingly.
Greenhouse Gas Management
i-SENS calculates greenhouse gas emissions for Scope 1 and Scope 2 in response to climate change, and based on accumulated data, we are striving to understand the current situation and reduce emissions.
