Since its founding in 2000, i-SENS Co., Ltd. has experienced steady growth by researching, developing, and manufacturing advanced diagnostic medical devices. Our product range includes blood glucose meters, continuous glucose monitoring systems, glycated hemoglobin meters, blood electrolyte and gas analyzers, and immunoassay protein analyzers. All of these products are developed using our proprietary technology and are distributed worldwide. Our growth is driven by our commitment to ethical management, as well as our dedication to fulfilling our mission and social responsibility as a company focused on protecting global health.
The management philosophy that i-SENS has maintained since its founding aligns closely with the ESG principles, which are now emerging as a global framework for corporate management. ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) has become a standard for evaluating a company’s overall value. It enables investors to assess the company’s potential for sustainable growth and gain insights into its business activities that cannot be fully captured in financial statements.
In other words, corporate management is considered complete when it goes beyond adhering to economic and legal responsibilities on the qualitative foundation of ethical management to fulfill the ethical responsibilities expected by social norms, and this is reflected in ESG’s quantitative indicators.
In response, i-SENS has been actively embracing all aspects of ESG management since 2023, working diligently to educate and implement these practices among all employees. As a positive outcome of these efforts, in 2023, we were awarded a bronze medal by Ecovadis, a global company specializing in ESG supply chain evaluations.
As quantitative ESG standards continue to become more stringent each year, we are committed to raising awareness of ESG among all employees and actively participating in ESG initiatives. i-SENS will achieve sustainable development and growth by engaging all employees in ESG management, building on the ethical management principles we have upheld since our establishment. Furthermore, we aim to fulfill our responsibility as a leading company in the healthcare diagnostic medical device industry, both in Korea and globally. Thank you.
