On December 12, i-SENS hosted a Round Table Meeting (RTM) at its headquarters in Korea in collaboration with the Korean Diabetes Association (KDA).
The meeting brought together leading endocrinologists and diabetes experts to discuss evolving treatment paradigms in diabetes care and the expanding clinical role of continuous glucose monitoring systems (CGMS).
The session reviewed recent global and domestic clinical guidelines, including the 2026 American Diabetes Association (ADA) Standards of Care, highlighting the growing recognition of CGMS as an essential tool in modern diabetes management.
Participants also shared real-world clinical perspectives on how CGMS supports more informed and proactive glucose control across diverse patient populations.
Discussions emphasized the importance of data-driven, patient-centered care, along with the need to strengthen accessibility, education, and policy support to encourage broader adoption of CGMS technologies.
Clinical insights further highlighted how CGMS enables a deeper understanding of glucose patterns that are difficult to capture through conventional self-monitoring, supporting more informed treatment decisions.
This RTM reflects i-SENS’s ongoing commitment to advancing diabetes care through collaboration with the medical community and fostering meaningful dialogue around innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes.
The outcomes of the meeting will be featured in the 2026 issue of Monthly Diabetes published by the Korean Diabetes Association.
